The cross design was inspired by the crushed cross sculpture from the Church of Reconciliation in Dachau, Germany

Made in 2004

Blocks are machine pieced using a paper piecing technique.

Machine quilted with a stippling design in the background and gentle curving lines in the border

100% cotton fabrics and 80/20 cotton blend batting

Black background with gold, green, wine gold prints
