Inspired by the calming effects of the the beach and water

Made in 2014

I hand painted the off center rectangle with an abstract design, then framed it with a 1” light lime green fabric. The framed rectangle is pieced into a commercial batik print. Painted rectangle measures 16” x 20”

Machine quilted with a horizontal angled lines

100% cotton fabrics and 80/20 cotton blend batting

green turquoise, dark teal and hints of gold metallic

Sleeve for hanging attached to the back
