This is a unique collection of twelve different blocks inspired by traditional Mexican Talavera tiles. This style of enameled earthenware dates back to the 16th century and is strongly influenced by the Orient, Italian Renaissance, the Moors, Spain and the native people of Mexico. Talavera style pottery is produced in many different regions of the country and results in a variety of different designs and colors.

Pattern includes instructions and full size applique templates for a 51" x 68" applique quilt.

Blocks can be machine or hand appliqued.
